The main minerals at the Ovruch deposit are quartzites. Quartzite is a metamorphic rock mainly composed of quartz. Formed during the metamorphism of quartz sandstones. Quartzite is characterized by a granular structure, high rigidity (leaves a scratch on the glass), and uneven grain surfaces.

As of today, together with the German company AKW Apparate + Verfrahen GmbH, a plant with a full cycle of quartz sand enrichment is being designed, and a technological line for washing and sorting quartzite screenings with a classification step of 0.5 mm is being designed with the Northern Irish company CDE.

The high quality of our products allows us to use them in the production of ferroalloys and dinas products, in the production of various refractory products and various lining. Quartzites are very strong, hard, refractory, and polish quite well. Also, our products are very successfully used in construction.
